It depicts the early fifties and sixties, and shows much of the central business district's compact urban development and narrow streets. Many of the structures depicted in this book were removed during the city's urban renewal program in the 1960s. Along with the buildings, many of the business establishments (such as those mentioned above) are also now gone.
