      Narrator Shari Peele puts the smooth in smooth operator as postal manager Doug Carter uses his powers of persuasion on new employee Jan Baker. Full of breezy banter, Peele's flowing narration follows Jan's interactions with Doug. Peele almost purrs as Doug convinces Jan he can rock her world in and out of the bedroom. Jan's careful personality emerges clearly with Peele's deliberate phrasing as Jan slowly responds to Doug's pursuit. Jan's lifelong dream of becoming a professional singer hits the right note, thanks to the rhythmic lyrics delivered by Peele. While some of the secondary characters are quite distinct, Doug and Jan could be better differentiated in conversation.
